Why are Z Twist Yarns Great for Crochet?

You might not have heard about z twist yarn. But if you’re a crocheter, you’re gonna want
to stay tuned. Z twist refers to the direction in which the
yarn is spun or plied together. Because Z twist yarns are spun in the opposite
direction from the more common S twist, they are particularly good for crocheters. If you crochet right-handed,
Z twist yarns are spun in the same direction that they are wrapped around your crochet hook. So they won’t untwist or split. Lion Brand’s first Z twist yarn is the aptly
named ZZ twist. It’s a worsted weight, 100% micro-acrylic yarn, with beautiful stitch definitions and drape. Don’t worry knitters! You’ll love working with this smooth, soft yarn too. Click here to get your hands on some ZZ Twist.

I crocheted a hat with this and like it. It seems to have a nice drape to it, so is softer.

Is ZZ Twist available in department stores? I haven't seen it at my local Joann or Michael's.

so i bought 6 balls of this from your website (not available here in Australia) in the beautiful peacock colour… However as a left hander i have found that it does tend to split and untwist whilst working with it… any thoughts?? I don't want to give up on it though..
