How to Make Bag with Loop Yarn – Easy Finger Knitting with Loop It

Hey I’m Sarah Wolfe from reviewsbysarah.com Today I’ll show you how to finger knit this handbag with loop yarn. You’ll
need one ball of Red Heart’s Loop It yarn. To begin, count out 18 loops. Take the
next loop from the yarn strand and insert it into the eighteenth loop like
this. Insert the next loop into the seventeenth loop. And put the next loop
into the sixteenth loop. Continue doing this for all the loops across. Once you
get to the end of the row, take the next loop and insert it into the loop you
just made on the previous row. Now we will work across this row in the same
way we worked on row one. Insert the next loop into the previous loop stitch like
this. Continue across. Same thing when we get to this last stitch. Start the next
row by inserting the new loop into the previous loop like this. I made a total of 18 back and forth rows
but you can add a few more or less depending on how tall you want your bag.
Now it’s time to bind off the last row of loops. Insert the next loop into the
first loop and insert the next loop into the second loop. Pass this new loop
through the first loop. Now insert the next loop in the next
stitch. Take this new loop and pass it through the previous loop. Make the next
loop and pass this loop through the previous loop. Continue doing this across
the row. When one loop remains measure out about 20 loops, then cut the yarn.
Pull it through like this to secure it. See these loops? There’s a thread in the
middle holding them together. We’re going to cut the thread between each loop to
unravel it like this. Use the strand that’s still connected to the bag to sew
the side seam. We can use the strand to finger sew a seam. Then use the other
piece to sew the other side. You can use clip-on handles or sew-on
handles with the needle and thread. It’s up to you if you want a lining. Cut a
piece that’s just slightly smaller than the bag’s shape. Sew along the two edges
like this or if you want you can take hot glue and glue the lining to the
inside of the handbag. And here’s my finished soft loop knit bag. Please

Hi Sarah, I love your Beagle pom pom. Do you or your mom have a video on how to crochet a remote control holder that hangs over the arm of the sofa? I've been looking but I can't find one, all I find are videos but there are no instruction. Thank You
